Offline Marketing for Online Profits...

One of the most effective ways to advertise offline, is direct response marketing.

This was done in a variety of ways, but 2 of the more popular ways were...

1. Full page direct response ads in magazines
2. Printed letterbox flyers.

What do we mean by "Direct Response Marketing."

Simple, each ad or flyer had a direct response form included in the page where the reader could respond direct to get the offer. They could insert their name, address, phone number and a check in order to purchase the product being offered.

The problem is that both of these methods are rather expensive.

But here is an offline idea that can help you get people to your website that is both affordable and effective...

In the offline business world there is an old saying...

"The most important thing is Location, Location, Location."

Your business needs to be located where a majority of people will see it...

So how can you utilize this knowledge for an online business...

People all over the planet are looking for ways to make money. Job insecurity is at an all time high, cost of living has increased over the past 5 years, and many people are looking to supplement their incomes, or completely replace them with an online business.

Let's say you own, or your promote, an online business that is making money...

Why not try this...

1. Create a powerful, attention grabbing, direct response flyer...
2. Get it printed in vibrant color...
3. Pin it up on the bulletin boards at your local shopping centers.

Let's look at these separately.

1. Create a powerful, attention grabbing, direct response flyer...

With a direct response flyer, keep in mind the heading and the first paragraph are critical.

The heading must capture peoples attention by offering a promise or benefit, and the first paragraph, must explain the promise or benefit in your headline.

Let's say you are an affiliate for a powerful home business opportunity. You could use a headline like...

Need to supplement your income or completely replace it?
This Automated Online Business is Making
Me Over $10,000 a Month!

Then in your first paragraph, you would explain how others are earning this and more each month. Your flyer could include a screen shot of payments you have earned, or testimonials of others who have made money. The key is to tell your story. This makes it real, authentic and believable.

2. Get it printed in vibrant color...

3. Pin it up on the bulletin boards at your local shopping centers.


This is a no cost way to start and it works. People will see your flyer and if it intrigues them, they may take a copy home with them so they can look your website up online. I would get your flyers printed in pads of 100, and pin up the entire pad so that people can take the top copy home with them.

Later, when your profits begin to climb, you can investigate the costs of getting your flyers included in local newspapers in your town, or city, as inserts. You could even get your downline to invest in this, and include a rotator url in your direct response flyers.
